SEASIDE RESTAURANT HAS BEEN A FIXTURE OF VESUVIUS BAY FOR DECADES
In the 40s when it was Vesuvius Marine, where they rented boats, and sold bait, there was a gas station and small ice cream, snacks and coffee shop. Paddle wheelers would come from Ladysmith and beyond with supplies for Salt Spring Island.

As business increased, the original owners turned their living room into a coffee shop and the bedroom into the dining area. Over the years it has changed several times, but it has always kept its charm and reputation for being locals’ favorite seaside kitchen.
